Bidspirit auction | A Trio of Three Cast

A Trio of Three Cast Stone Garden Ornaments in Mid-20th Century Style - A trio of three cast stone garden ornaments in mid-20th century style, comprising two gnome figures and a mushroom dwelling. The collection is constructed from reconstituted stone. One gnome figure is depicted standing and pushing a wheelbarrow, wearing a pointed hat and a full beard. The second gnome is seated in a cross-legged position, featuring a peaked cap and a short beard, with a small aperture between the hands and mouth that likely originally held a separate pipe or flute accessory. Both gnomes retain remnants of a distressed white painted finish over their cast stone bodies. The third item is a dwelling in the form of a mushroom, featuring a textured cap to represent a fly agaric style and a stalk detailed with an incised arched door and windows. No manufacturer's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the items.
