A Singer 99K Portable Hand-Crank Sewing Machine with Accessories in Case - This lot comprises a Singer 99K portable hand-crank sewing machine with associated accessories in a wooden carrying case. The machine is constructed with a black enamelled cast-iron body decorated with gold-toned filigree decals. The arm is marked with the printed characters 'The SINGER MANUFACTURING Co.' and 'SINGER'. A brass oval badge on the pillar displays the Singer logo, and a small metal plate below it is marked '99K'. A serial number is stamped on a metal plate at the base reading 'EL407833'. The machine is mounted in a wooden base and housed within a rectangular wooden carrying case with a textured black exterior, a moulded plastic handle, and two metal latches. Inside the case lid, a metal bracket holds a green and orange metal oil can with the printed characters 'SINGER SEWING MACHINE OIL' and 'THE SINGER MANUFACTURING'. Also included is a separate rectangular black rubber mat embossed with the letters 'SINGER'. A fabric test swatch is present under the presser foot.
