A Collection of Vintage Table Lighters in Various Materials Including Ronson, Minton and Colibri Examples - A collection of table lighters constructed from various materials including jasperware, onyx, metal, glass and bone china. The lot includes a light blue jasperware style lighter with white relief classical decoration, featuring a black plastic filler cap marked RONSON MADE IN ENGLAND and an impressed base marked MADE IN ENGLAND, 71 and 8. Also included is a rectangular green onyx lighter with a gold-tone mechanism and a black filler cap marked RONSON. A spherical brushed and polished metal lighter is marked to the underside with an impressed circular mark reading RONSON ® REGD. TRADE MARK, OPEN, FOR FLINT, MADE IN ENGLAND and PATENTED. The assortment further contains a blue faceted glass lighter with a chrome-plated mechanism and a white bone china lighter decorated with floral sprays. The bone china base is marked with a printed brown wreath containing FOUNDED MINTON 1793, BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND, accompanied by hand-painted P and 6 marks and a cursive Colibri signature.
