Bidspirit auction | A Pair of Framed Gerald

A Pair of Framed Gerald Coulson Offset Lithographic Landscape Prints - This lot comprises two framed Gerald Coulson offset lithographic landscape prints. The first, titled Quiet Forest, depicts a large stag in a misty autumnal woodland clearing. The lower margin of this print features printed text reading QUIET FOREST by Gerald Coulson, and a signature reading COULSON is printed in the lower right area of the image. The reverse of the frame bears a yellow adhesive label printed with PIC7840 QUIET FOREST. The second print portrays a winter landscape featuring a solitary figure walking a dog along a tree-lined lane towards a distant church tower, with light snow on the ground. A printed signature reading COULSON appears in the lower left corner of the scene. Both works are presented in dark wood-effect frames with gilt-toned inner slips and are protected by glass. The paper for both prints exhibits visible age-related toning, particularly to the margins.
