A 9 Carat Yellow Gold Signet Ring Set With a Black Stone - A single 9 carat yellow gold signet ring featuring a central rectangular polished black stone, possibly onyx. The stone is held within a rub-over setting, further detailed with a decorative milgrain border. The gold band is of medium weight, measuring approximately 4.39 grams on the scale. To the interior of the shank, the piece bears a full suite of British hallmarks including the '375' purity mark for 9 carat gold and an anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office. A maker's mark and a date letter are also present but show signs of wear. The ring is a UK size T to T½.
