A Collection of Elephant Figurines in Various Styles and Materials - A collection of elephant figurines and themed functional objects in various materials, including glazed ceramic, wood, and shell-work. The group comprises multiple glazed ceramic pieces: a pair of elephants walking on green foliage bases with brown and amber bodies; a large white elephant with a hand-painted floral design in orange, green, and blue on its back; two grey glazed planters shaped as trumpeting elephants; and a small white glazed figure. The collection also includes a set of three graduated black matte-finished upright elephants featuring a blue and white patterned decorative band across their backs. Further ceramic items include two larger elephant-shaped planters or vases with a black finish. A single dark-stained wooden elephant bookend is present, alongside a modern, stylised black polished figurine. Three shell-work figurines are included, featuring forms constructed from various small seashells, including cowries and scallops, mounted on sand-textured bases. No maker's marks, factory backstamps, or legible signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces of the items.
