A Table Lamp with Cast Metal Zoomorphic Base and Damask Pattern Fabric Shade - A table lamp featuring a cast metal tripod base and stem, constructed with an open-work design. The base and stem appear to be made of a dark patinated copper-alloy or bronze, showing significant green verdigris oxidation within the recessed details. The tripod feet are formed in a stylised foliate or animalier fashion, while the stem comprises three vertical supports topped with small animal-head finials, possibly canine or feline in form. The lamp is fitted with a modern gold-coloured plastic flex and a metal bulb socket housing. Embossed characters around the rim of the socket read VITRITOUM, followed by a series of digits which are not clearly legible. The lot includes a cream-coloured fabric shade of waisted and scalloped form, decorated with a floral damask style pattern and finished with a braided trim.
