The circular form is constructed with a raised, straight-sided rim and is decorated in an Art Deco style with a palette of orange, yellow, brown, and blue against a cream ground. The central landscape motif is contained within a blue circular border, and the exterior rim is finished with a solid orange band. The underside of the base features a hand-painted inscription reading HAND PAINTED above a stylized script mark reading Bizarre by Clarice Cliff. To the right of the name is a small circular stamp reading WILKINSON ENGLAND, and the centre of the base bears a separate printed stamp reading MADE IN ENGLAND. A small accidental dab of orange paint is present on the foot rim.
