An Edwardian Style Mahogany and Satinwood Inlaid Double Bed Frame - This lot comprises a disassembled Edwardian style double bed frame, including a headboard, footboard, and two side rails. The frame is constructed from mahogany or a similar dark hardwood, featuring decorative satinwood or boxwood stringing and cross-banded veneers. The headboard and footboard are designed with central rectangular solid wood panels flanked by vertical slats and horizontal rails. The horizontal rails are embellished with a repeating geometric checkerboard or dentil inlaid pattern. The vertical posts terminate in flared, square-topped finials. The width of the frames is compatible with a standard UK double mattress. No maker's marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces shown in the photographs.
