A Hollywood Regency Style Glass Top Dining Table on a Travertine and Metal Pedestal Base - A large dining table featuring a thick rectangular bevelled glass top with clipped corners. The glass top is supported by a central pedestal base constructed from an octagonal tiered plinth made of polished travertine or a similar composite stone material. Resting upon the stone plinth is a complex openwork metal frame finished in a textured tortoiseshell brown and gold toned lacquer. The metalwork features elaborate scrollwork and a central interlaced Celtic knot style motif at the apron. Four scrolled supports extend from the central apron to provide structural stability for the glass top, each terminating in a rounded finial.
