The rectangular top features a deeply carved relief scene protected by an inset sheet of clear glass. The central panel depicts a traditional courtyard landscape populated with multiple figures in traditional dress, architectural elements, and foliage. The table is supported by four chow style legs, which are stout and curved, terminating in inward-turning scroll feet. The apron is further decorated with carved fretwork and floral motifs. The side panels also feature relief carvings of traditional figures and structures. No maker's marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the piece.
