The band is constructed from solid high-carat gold and features a polished finish to the exterior. The interior of the band is struck with a sequence of British hallmarks, beginning with the initials H B M in three individual rectangular punches. This is followed by a crown symbol, the number 22 inside a rectangular frame with rounded corners, and an anchor symbol representing the Birmingham Assay Office. A final shield-shaped punch contains a character that is not clearly legible as a date letter. The ring is accompanied by a handwritten card tag. Weight: approximately 6.09g.
