A RUSSIAN BADGE OF THE MINE OFFICER CLASS.
A Russian empire badge for graduates of the Mine Officer Class in Kronstadt. The badge is made of silver-plated dark bronze.In the center of the circle formed by the anchor chain is the Admiralty anchor, and on top there are overlapping pole mines and a torpedo superimposed on it.The mines officer class was opened on October 1, 1874. The badge for graduating from the Mines Officer Class was established on August 7, 1878.
