Letter from the Admor Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Satmar

Letter of approval and Greetings in the signature of the Rebbe 'HaBrech Moshe' from Satmar [the Rebbe added the date next to the signature], Shvet 7, 1959.

Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum (HaBrech Moshe, 1915-2006) was born in the city of Siget in Romania to his father, the owner of the "Atzey Hayim" from Siget, and was a disciple of his uncle, the Rebbe of Satmar. During the Holocaust he was sent with his whole family to Auschwitz, where his wife and three children were murdered. After the Holocaust he emigrated to the United States, and after the death of the Rebbe R. Yoel of Satmar, was appointed as successor of his uncle and was crowned the revered rabbi of the Satmar Hasidim - considered one of the largest Hassidic courts in the world.
