Receipt confirming charitable contribution of funds donated by the Rebbe of Sieniawa for distribution to former residents of Sanz (Galicia) residing in the Holy Land. Signed by Rabbi Mordechai Weiss, officer of Kollel Ostreich in Tiberias.
Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam (1815-1899), Rebbe of Sieniawa, oldest son of the Divrei Chayim of Sanz and main successor of his father. Rabbi of Rudnik, Rozdol, Stropkow and Sieniawa, and considered one of the greatest chassidic leaders of his generation. Author of Divrei Yechezkel.
