RARE - RABBI CHAIM SOFER, RABBI OF BUDAPEST, AUTHOR OF MACHANEI CHAIM, UNPUBLISHED APPROBATION TO SEDER MISHNA BY RABBI WOLF BOSKOWITZ.

This rare approbation was written by Rabbi Chaim Sofer to Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe of Budapest, who had obtained the voluminous unpublished writings of Rabbi Wolf Boskowitz, son of the author of Machatzis Hashekel and Rabbi of Kolin and Bonyhad. Leading Hungarian rabbinic leader and halachic authority. Rabbi of Yemering, Sentpeter, Munkacz and Budapest. Author of eight volumes of responsa Machanei Chaim, and other works.
