INVITATION TO WEDDING OF THE OLDEST GRANDSON OF THE SKVERER REBBE, WITH THE REBBE’S SIGNATURE.
Invitation to the wedding of the Skverer Rebbe’s eldest grandson, Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky, son of Rabbi Ahron Menachem Mendel – the oldest son of the Rebbe, in 2001. This invitation was sent to the Slonimer Rebbe and is signed by the Skverer Rebbe, Rabbi David Twersky.
Rabbi David Twersky (b. 1939), the Skverer Rebbe, son of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef of Skver and son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz. Succeeded his father as Skverer Rebbe in 1968, heading the worldwide Skver chassidic movement and expanding New Square – the village established by his father in New York State. The Skverer Rebbe is one of the most famous chassidic leaders, who is consulted by large numbers of people for his blessings and advice.
