2-sided letter sent by Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Nachum Twersky of Rawa-Ruska to his sister, in 1936, mentioning receipt of a letter from his sister-in-law Henia (Hager – Perlow), who was living in Tel Aviv.
Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Nachum Twersky (1888-1942), son of Rabbi Mordechai of Shpikow and son-in-law of Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokach of Belz. Succeeded his father as Rebbe of Shpikow in 1914, but returned to Belz in 1924 and was appointed Rabbi of Rawa-Ruska in 1926. Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Nachum was very close to his father-in-law and was sent to represent him at rabbinical meetings. He refused rescue attempts during WWII, saying that he wished to remain together with his community at that time.
