Letter dated 1897 thanking the Rabbi of Stanislawow for his book Harei Besamim, and praising its wonderful content. He apologises for the delay in acknowledging its receipt, having been occupied in arranging the shidduch of a daughter.

Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel Padwa (b. 1845), son of Rabbi Shimon of Zavichvast, a Rebbe of the Koidenow – Neshchiz dynasty. Rebbe in Bolechow, where he was popular and respected in all circles andrenowned as a miracle-worker. Some of his Torah teachings are found in the published works of his son-in-law Rabbi Shlomo Chaim of Bolechow.

Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Horowitz (1847-1909), son of Rabbi Yitzchak of Stanislawow, disciple of his grandfather Rabbi Meshulam Yissachar Horowitz – author of Bar Livai, ordained by the Shoel Umeishiv and the Divrei Chayim of Sanz. Rabbi of Zlozitz (1875), Strij (1878) and Stanislawow (1904). Leading halachic authority, author of responsa Harei Besamim.
