INVITATION TO THE WEDDING OF THE BELZER REBBE.
Invitation issued by ‘Vaad Chassidei Belz’ (Committee of the Belz Chassidic community), for the wedding of the present Belzer Rebbe, Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokach, to a daughter of Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz, in 1965. The invitation also refers to the ‘Aufruf’ (calling the groom to the Reading of the Torah on the previous Sabbath) and to the ‘Forshpiel’ pre-wedding celebration, to be held at the house of the uncle of the groom – the previous Rebbe of Belz (who was no longer living), at Rechov Achad Ha’am in Tel Aviv.
