Ohel David, novellae on Tractates Shavuos and Yevamos, by Rabbi David Deutsch. Pressburg 1835. with the following inscription on the flyleaf: Gift presented by Reuven HaCohen Schoenbrun of Beregsasz’ With the stamp of the Rebbe of Sighet ‘Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum of Sighet’. And another stamp of the the rebbe’s son, ‘Yechiel Michel Teitelbaum of Sighet’. Between the pages of this book, there is a kvittel (handwritten petition for prayer) presented to the Rebbe.

Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum (1881-1926), son of Rabbi Chananya Yomtov Lippa – author of Kedushas Yomtov and Rabbi and Rebbe of Sighet, and son-in-law of Rabbi Shalom Eliezer Halberstam, Rebbe of Ratzfert. Rabbi Chaim Tzvi was renowned for his Torah scholarship, saintliness and modesty, and succeeded his father as Rebbe of the Chassidic dynasty of Sighet and Rabbi of the town at the age of 24. He led his community and followers with great devotion and they were all deeply distressed at his sudden passing at the age of 45, while visiting Kleinwardein. Author of Atzei Chaim.

R. Reuven HaCohen Schoenbrun of Beregsasz, was a disciple of three generations of Rebbes of Sighet, the Yetev Lev, the Kedushas Yomtov and the Atzei Chaim.
