A collection of 20 interesting letters, on various subjects.
Rabbi Efrayim Eliezar HaCohen Yolles (1891-1989), son and disciple of Rabbi Shalom – Rabbi of Stryj, received rabbinical ordination form Rabbi David Horowitz of Stanislawow and Rabbi Nassan Lewin of Rzeszow. Dayan in Stryj (1916), Rabbi of Kerem Yisrael in Philadelphia (1921) and Rabbi of Philadelphia (1948). Author of Divrei Efrayim Eliezer.
Chaim Bloch (1881-1973), born in Galicia and emigrated to Vienna. Served as Austro-Hungarian Army Chaplain in WWI. Returned to Vienna and published and edited a number of Jewish historical works and translations. Escaped to America after the Nazi invasion.
