Sessual is a beautiful original watercolor on paper realized by Mino Maccari. Hand signed on pencil on lower right margin.
It represents a nude female figure on a pink background and a male figure under her. The buttocks of the figure are composed of two faces. The outlines of the figures are realized in grey. Interesting the use of pink with various shades.
Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 - Roma, 1989) was a popular Italian artist and engraver. He realized a lot of graphic artworks, especially lithographs and etchings with satirical and political intents. He was famous also for erotic and sexual drawings. Maccari also worked for many years at Il Mondo and taught engraving at Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
The paper sheet is stuck on another sheet. Very good conditions.
