NEWSPAPER KURYER POLSKI no 550 INSURGENT WARSAW 1831
Kuryer Polish newspaper published in Warsaw on June 27, 1831. Number 550 format 20 x 17 cm. 8 pages, no damage. A newspaper published during the Poles' uprising against the Russian occupation in 1930/1831. The issue contains information about officer and non-commissioned officer promotions in the Polish army (the promoted are mentioned by name), information about the battles with the Russians near the city of Rajgród and in Lithuania, as well as information about the death of lieutenant Antoni Płużański, a knight of the virtuti militari order, as a result of wounds sustained during the fights for the village of Domoniewice.
