A BRASS RUBBING PRINT WOODHOUSE ABDUCTION

This vintage print is a detail from the brass to Bishops Godfrey & Frederic Bulow (Schwerin, East Germany, circa 1375). Was made using a brass rubbing technique by WACHS BRASS RUBBING CENTRE. The plot depicts a wild man of the woods kidnapping a maiden. He is taking her to the king who is waiting in a tent on the left side of the picture. A knight set off in pursuit of them, leaving the castle on the right side of the picture. Framed.
