(b. 1944) A long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975 Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats and was paroled in 1985. A.L.S. 'the Bee', 3pp. 4to, Alderson West Virginia, 1980, to Charles Manson. She borrowed $190 from her grandma and told her she would pay her back by middle December, she believed Mel was a man of his word. Please mark what you like and return....Its so sad that the good sense these country people have is lost in the young people as it brainwashed all of them. They can see how everything is sold, including people's brains. I have some good talks with some of these guards, its too bad they are victims just as much as us.' From a grouping of Manson's letters in the estate of his biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words'.
