A 9ct gold wristwatch, the rectangular dial with Arabic numerals, alternate baton hour markers, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands, dial signed Philex, 16 jewel lever movement, case stamped Vertex Made in England A.L.D. and numbered 99777 13449, Birmingham hallmarks, 1936, gilt winding crown, case width 22mm, to later leather straps
General surface scratching and minor nicking to case. There is black discoloration to one lug suggesting possible repair. Dial with general spotting and marking, there is wear to area under edges of case and discoloration. Wear to baton markers. Some 'blueing' is deficient from hands. Gilt winding crown worn. Movement currently running though not tested for timekeeping, please note that Roseberys do not guarantee working order or time keeping of any automatic, mechanical, quartz or other timepiece.
