An unusual Austrian silver cased Ha-Melech miniature Esther scroll, megillah, Vienna, c.1900, Alexander Sturm, the cylindrical silver case engraved with a Hebrew inscription from Esther 6:11 beneath a scene from the Book of Esther depicting Mordecai being paraded in triumph by Haman through the city streets, the case numbered '24228' with clip handle and ring finial to pull-off cap with Hebrew inscription, the parchment with 11 lines to a column, depth 6cm, case length 12cm.
