Hauptmann's Shoulder Boards (Schulterstücke)
Two, matching, slip on shoulder board of bright, silver/aluminum Russian braiding with two, gilt washed, stamped alloy rank pips to each, mounted on a light brown wool waffenfarbe bases. The shoulder boards have a narrow, blue/grey wool, slip on retaining tongue handstitched to the bottom of each. The shoulder boards are in overall good condition with small spots of moderate chafe wear to the Russian braiding, at the slip on ends and light to moderate age and usage toning and nap wear to the light brown wool bases.
