Early document from Auschwitz concentration campdated 27.1.41 , it has been signed by SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer Erich Frommhagenand the document reads:K.L Auschwitz Auschwitz on 27.1.41HeadquartersDistribution: To all departments!Re: circular dated January 25th, 1941It is pointed out that the name and the troop affiliation must be noted onthe back of the photos submitted.Recordings cannot be returned without the notice.FrommhagenSS-HauptsturmfuhrerErich Frommhagen (born February 27, 1912 in Salzwedel , † March 17, 1945 inthe Stuhlweissenburg area , Hungary ) was a German SS-Hauptsturmführer andadjutant of the camp commandant in Auschwitz and Neuengamme concentrationcamps .After the handover of power to the National Socialists, Frommhagen joinedthe SS in May 1933 (SS number 73.754) and in early May 1937 the NSDAP (membership number 4.330.301).After the beginning of the Second World War he was a company commander inthe SS-Totenkopf-Infanterie-Regiment 3 . In mid-September 1940 he was sentto the Auschwitz concentration camp, where he was Josef Kramer's successorfrom November 1, 1940 to November 1, 1941, adjutant to camp commandantRudolf Höß .
