Jewish Synagogues: Germany > Nürnberg - GREAT SYNAGOGUE (on Hans-Sachs-Platz) in background of Pegnitz river view on unattributed Agfa black and white photographic postcard with German caption on front. Unused. The Synagogue was inaugurated in 1874 and was destroyed by the Nazis in August 1938, prior to Krystallnacht.
