Soldbuch - Rifle Replacement and Training Battalion 7
Soldbuch zugleich Personalausweis - Landesschützen-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Bataillon 7 (State Rifle Replacement and Training Battalion 7).
The Landesschützen-Ersatz-Bataillon 7 was set up on March 20, 1940 in Rosenheim, Military District VII. The battalion was under the division 407th
On May 3, 1940, the battalion was relocated to Berchtesgaden in the same military district VII. In Berchtesgaden, the battalion was housed in the Adolf Hitler barracks, the actual home of the 2nd battalion of the 100 Mountain Infantry Regiment.
In 1941 the battalion was relocated to Freising, also in military district VII.
In October 1942 the battalion was divided into a Landesschützen-Ersatz-Bataillon 7 and a Landesschützen-Training-Battalion 7.
On April 9, 1943, these two were then combined in Freising to form Landesschützen-Ersatz- und Training-Bataillon 7.
On June 10, 1944, a regional rifle replacement and training battalion II./7 is set up in Ingolstadt on the Danube, also military district VII.The new battalion was also subordinated to Division 407. Because of the reorganization, the previous Landesschützen Replacement and Training Battalion 7 was renamed the Landesschützen Replacement and Training Battalion I./7.
The subordination of the Landesschützen-Ersatz- und Training-Bataillon 7 changed in 1944 to Division 467. The Landesschützen-Ersatz- und Trainings-Bataillon I./7 is then on July 11, 1944 in a Landesschützen-Ersatz-Bataillon I./7 and a state rifle training battalion I./7 divided.
