A SET OF AMERICAN AND RUSSIAN POSTERS
A set of three modern posters. The first: Cao Yong (Chinese, born 1962) poster, after Freedom, 2002 depicting an image of the Statue of Liberty standing tall over soldiers raising the American flag at Iwo Jima, firefighters raising the flag at Ground Zero, American presidents on Mount Rushmore and an Astronaut planting an American flag on the moon; signature in print lower right. The second: Ivan Slavinsky (Russian, born 1968) poster depicting a city view in the genre of fantastic realism; signed in print, and marked, Nevsky 20, St. Petersburg Independent Artists Union, lower to the center. The third: poster with a photograph by V. Lugansky (Russian photographer), and print and text on verso; published by IMA press.
