Arkadij Aleksandrovic Rylov (Russian, 1870-1939) oil painting on board depicting a summer landscape with a pond. Signed in the Cyrillic lower right. Presented in a wooden frame. The artworks of Arkady Rylov largely determined the versatile look of landscape painting in Leningrad in the 1920s-1930s. The artist’s paintings are predominantly Russian nature.
