Silver gilt Menorah- Chanukiah- Candelabra, Ben Zion Noah, Israel, 20/21st century.
This silver gilt Chanukah lamp also functions as a candelabra. 8 silver gilt peacocks adorn the 8 legs that hold the base. 2 steps in octagonal shape, open silver intricate latticework. Dome base set above steps. Semi-precious stones surrounding knob leading up to main body, the upper section composed of 8 foliate branches extending from 3 rotating knobs set with semi-precious stones. Branches topped by 8 cup shaped oil compartments, each compartment has a removable silver gilt lid topped with forms of different animals. Main stem topped by silver gilt crown flanked by 2 lions. This is a true masterpiece.
