WW1 Medal Trio in a Princess Mary Xmas Gift Tin. Awarded to Pte Albert Preston of the Royal West Riding Regiment. The contents also include his numbered silver War Service Badge for wounds received. Complete with the original official discharge certificate showing two wound stripes and that he was no longer fit for military service. A employers reference dated 1944 informs us that he had actually lost his leg during WW1.
