Stan Hoffman was a music producer who worked with Fats Domino and Chuck Berry. Stan was the producer who talked Chuck Berry into recording a song he didn't want to do and earning him a fortune on the back of seven-million sales worldwide -My Ding A Ling.

Stan Hoffman managed, advised and/or promoted 38 world champions during his nearly 50 years in the boxing industry, ? according to the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame in conjunction with Hoffmans induction with the class of 2019.

Maker, E. Dent, London, England. Model Congreve rolling ball. c.1974. A LATE 20TH CENTURY LIMITED EDITION MATT AND BURNISHED BRASS 'CONGREVE' ROLLING BALL CLOCKE. Dent & Co, number 24 of 150, circa 1974the three silvered arabic chapter rings showing hours, minutes and seconds with pierced brass moon hands all mounted on a shaped frame supported on four turned columns to a plinth base with applied nameplate for Dent, the substantial single fusee movement with maintainting power and six spoke wheels regulated via the hinged table below with angled grooves tilting every 15 seconds, all on a mahogany and marble plinth under a plexiglass dome 48cms. (19ins.) maximum widthE. Dent & Company re-introduced the rolling ball clock in 1973 in a strictly limited run of 150 examples. The Dent company made high-quality replicas of earlier famous skeleton clocks and sold limited editions of this in the 1973. This is a replica loosely based upon the original design by Sir William Congreve in 1808. Inscribed on rear plate Ser. No. 24 , Andrew Fell, 1974. Measurements 19 in wide, 14.5 in deep, 17.5 in high.Clock has not been tested. Some pitting on brass.
