Stan Hoffman was the nephew of crime lord Meyer Lansky, the man who invented Las Vegas as a gambling mecca by building the first hotel in the Nevada desert.

Stan Hoffman was a music producer who worked with Fats Domino and Chuck Berry. Stan was the producer who talked Chuck Berry into recording a song he didn't want to do and earning him a fortune on the back of seven-million sales worldwide -My Ding A Ling.

Stan Hoffman managed, advised and/or promoted 38 world champions during his nearly 50 years in the boxing industry, ? according to the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame in conjunction with Hoffmans induction with the class of 2019.

Oil on board of cattle in a pastoral setting by Peter Moran (1841 - 1914). Gilt composite frame with chipping on corners and edges. Painting is intact with no issues noted. Measurements: Image 8.75 x 3.5 inches.Frame: 18.25 x 13.25 inches "Known as a painter and engraver, Moran specialized in landscapes and scenes of animals. In 1877 his prints were among the very first purchased for reproduction by an American commercial publisher. Moran traveled extensively, visiting New Mexico in 1864, the Tetons in 1879, and Arizona and New Mexico in the 1880s.
