A rare bronze and enamel badge of the pilot operator and radio operator (Flugzeugführer- und Bordfunkerabzeichen). Austro-Hungarian Empire. Imperial (Royal) Air Force. World War I. Model 1917.This is a post-war replacement for the original badge. Issued to the recipient of the original badge with the documented proof of the original award around 1940.
