1911 South Dakota Commission Officer Promotion Document. Named to Second Lieutenant Harry D. Lavender, 4th Infantry. Signed by R.S. Vessey. Vessey is Robert Scadden Vessey the South Dakota Governor. Size is 16.75 x 21.75 inches. Condition is good for the time period with some tears along the edges and some fading and foxing on the front and the reverse.
