The Technical Emergency Aid (TN or Teno) was a nationwide organization that was originally set up to secure emergency work during "wild", often politically motivated strikes in companies defined as vital.
Its supporters from the military, politics, administration, business and large parts of the bourgeoisie praised technical emergency aid as an indispensable means of power against the "red strike terror". Opponents from the left-wing party spectrum and many unions praised technical emergency aid as counter-revolutionary and anti-workers "strike-breakers "branded.
After the troubled first five years of the Weimar Republic, the main focus was shifted to disaster control and, at the beginning of the 1930s, also to civilian air defense.
From 1936, the technical emergency aid was gradually transformed into a "technical auxiliary police force" within the framework of the regulatory police. During the Second World War, the technical emergency aid provided technical units both for air protection in the Reich and in the occupied areas in the wake of the Wehrmacht.Enamelled, on the back GES.GESCH and matriculation number " 133153 ", on a needle (35mm)
