Silver Besomim Spice Tower , Aaron Katz late 1800's
Large fine English silver spice tower , midsection comprising intricate filigree work, with curved door. Hung with four bells , surmounted by four flags and spire topped with knop and flag. Knopped stem and domed circular base. Aaron Katz was one of the foremost silver craftsmen in England at the end of the 19th century producing silver Besomim spice boxes renowned for their intricate design and solid finish.
