Silver and Gilt Pesach 6 Piece Kaara - Seder plate set , 20th century , Probably Israel
Beautiful unusual set of silver and gilt wheelbarrow dishes for the 6 different food species displayed and eaten at the festive Passover/Pesach meal celebration. Name of each siman/symbol is embossed in clear gilt Hebrew lettering. The carriages have 2 six spoked gilt wheels, two intricate legs at the back acting as stands, and three dimensional puffed sides panels ending in rounded handles. Will add greatly to the conversation at your Pesach Seder.
