Antique Victorian Sterling Scottish Birds Foot Pin
Antique Ward Brothers Victorian Sterling Silver Scottish real grouse foot or claw brooch pin. With 1 Cairngorm stone (untested) mounted on the stag's antlers, and a ring on one claw. Signed with 5 hallmarks: "WBs, unidentified 1st mark lion passant facing left (925), Edinburgh, "B" early 1900's". Measures 3". Usually worn on kilts, shawls and cloaks or for collectors of vintage jewelry. These pins were used for good luck when game hunting. This pin was made by "The Ward Brothers Scotland". From a single owner collection. Estate was passed down to consignor.
