GRIFFITH D.W.: (1875-1948) American film director, one of the most influential figures in the history of the motion picture. A good vintage signed sepia 8 x 9.5 photograph of Griffith in a half-length pose. Photograph by the Hoover Art Co. of Los Angeles and bearing their blindstamp to the lower left corner.
