DE BROGLIE VICTOR: (1756-1794) Prince de Broglie. French General and Politician. President of the Constituent Assembly. Guillotined at the early age of 37. D.S., Victor Broglie, with a six lines annotation in his hand, one page, folio, Bischewiller, 6th April 1792, bearing a heading of the 3rd Battalion, fifth division, to lieutenant Antone Joseph Garnier, in French. De Broglie in his capacity as Field-Marshal supports the Cross of St. Louis appointment. Countersigned by Lieutenant Colonel Louis Belon, Commander of the volunteers battalion. Folded. VG £80-100
