"Moses the Rich", an anti-Semitic play composed in the wake of the Hep-Hep Riots against Jews in Germany in 1819. The plot of the play takes place during the riots; its protagonists are the Jewish banker Moses, his family and his workers.
48 pp, 20 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Creases. Tears and wear to leaf margins (uneven edges). Bound in hardcover binding, with original wrappers.
