Hanukkah Lamp - Poland - Peacocks
Hanukkah lamp. Warsaw (Poland), [late 19th Century] Silver-plated copper (marked, maker’s and location marks, Fraget w Warszawie – Galwi) cast, sawn and screwed.
Couch-like base, with a row of oil fonts (removable). Decorated backplate. At top: a pair of peacocks and Torah crown. In the center: model of the Temple Menorah with a pair of lions at the sides. With a removable oil vessel; no "Shamash".
Height: 24 cm. width: 22.5 cm. Good condition.
