Copy of Ketuba from Amsterdam, 1778
B'siman tov", a copy of a ketuba from Amsterdam, [January 1778].
On the marriage of Elyashiv "son of the elderly Chacham David Mildola" and Esther the daughter of Avraham Garsia Ezidro. Signed as a witness: Yitzchak Ebn Yakar Giminish [signed on another ketubot in Amsterdam in the 18th century, see attached lists].
Rabbi David Mildola [the first, 1714-1810, Otzar HaRabanim 4909], one of Amsterdam's great scholars. Wrote many books (Mo'ed David, Darchei David, Hanhagat V'limud HaTalmidim, Kitzur Tzizat Novel Zvi etc.).
It seems that this ketuba is a late copy of the original.
