Letter of Support to the Students of the Mir Yeshiva, by the Head of the Yeshiva Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel – 1933
Typewritten letter to the Chief Rabbi of Hague, Holland. Written on Rabbi Finkel's official stationery and hand-signed by him. Kislev 1932.
At the beginning of the letter, Rabbi Finkel describes the greatness of the Yeshiva which is "the largest center for Torah and piety in our time and close to five hundred excellent students from all over the country, who will eventually be the teachers and leaders of the nation, learn there".
Later he describes the Yeshiva's difficult financial situation and asks for the Rabbi's support.
His signature and stamp appear at the end of the letter.
